The well-known family-owned French luxury shoe brand commissioned us with their first shop in Brussels. This tiny space, located on a on a busy roundabout in the center of Brussels presented no particular charm or qualities. We decided to tear down the existing shop window and replace it with a large custom-made steel façade to maximize the openness and view inside the shop.
Very compact inside, the shop is characterized by a simple open plan with floors covered in a light oak herringbone pattern and continuous shelves on one side of the space. All displays are highlighted with patinated bronze panels and profiles creating a minimal yet welcoming interior. Project icw Marc Merckx.
